Meet The Team

Shirley Tavaşi

Managing Director

Shirley Tavaşi has an International Relations and Communications degree from Regent's College in London. Speaks fluent English, Turkish and intermediate Italian , French. She has joined YKC/ Bosphorus Relocation team as settling in consultant in 2010 and continued as a relocation consultant for five years. She became the company partner in 2015. Since 2019, she is the Managing Director of YKC/Bosphorus Relocation. She has extensive knowledge about the work and residence permit application processes as well as the education systems at the international schools in Istanbul.

Yasemin Kunze - Concewitz

Company Founder

Yasemin Kunze-Concewitz was born in Istanbul and spent most of her life accompanying her family on diplomatic foreign assignments in Russia, Cyprus, Sweden, Germany and the USA. She has a background in media and advertising. She is the founder of YKC/Bosphorus Relocation, having experienced the special lifestyle personally. She has a degree in Economics from the Bosphorus University/Istanbul. She speaks English, German and French.

Nathalie Welter

Senior Relocation Consultant

Nathalie was born in Istanbul and has a degree in Guidance & Psychological Counseling from the Bosphorus University. She has previously worked in Textile and Import sectors and has worked over 13 years as a Foreign Trade Manager in one of the top Coal Trading companies in Turkey. As she was born as a French citizen in Istanbul, she has personally experienced the challenges expats are experiencing in foreign countries. Nathalie has joined YKC / Bosphorus Relocation in 2019 and has been providing relocation consultancy to the assignees coming to Istanbul. She speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Luis Fins

Relocation Consultant

Luis was born in Istanbul and and has a degree in "Department of Public Relations and Advertising" at Marmara University. She has worked over ten years as a Brand Manager in best well known advertising agencies in Turkey. During her career, she participated in many academic certificate programs. Luis joined YKC/ Bosphorus Relocation team in 2021 and has been providing relocation consultancy to the assignees coming to Istanbul. She speaks English and beginners Spanish.

Altan Gürus

Office Representative / Company Driver

Altan was born in Istanbul and has attended the Hotel Management Associate Degree Program at Marmara University. He has worked over nine years as a the Production Manager in one of the well known seafood producers and export companies in Turkey. His interest in American Classic Cars enabled him to work in the automotive industry for almost four years. Altan joined YKC/ Bosphorus Relocation team in 2019 and has been providing consultancy mainly on settling in process of the assignees coming into Istanbul. He speaks intermediate English and beginners French.
